THE AIMS OF THE STUDIES
Preparation of professional staff for the institutions dealing with international relations regarding social, political, cultural, and economic issues, as well as businesses functioning on international markets, and organizations cooperating with foreign partners. A graduate possesses the ability to analyze domestic issues from international perspective, knowledge on varieties of modern world, which makes him capable of functioning in the diversified international environments, as well as the ability to diagnose in rational way and foresee global, regional, and country phenomena and processes.

In the process of education students are provided with the knowledge in the broad field of social science, especially legal, political, and economic, enabling them to get acquainted and comprehend the mechanisms behind international relations , as well as the functioning of economics in the global reality, European integration, and dynamic transformation of the modern world. Subjects taught during the course let students acquire knowledge on phenomena, processes, and rules of international, as well as global politics and economy. The program is conducted by both Polish and foreign specialists of international affairs, and high class experts experienced in governmental and diplomatic jobs. In this way students are given the opportunity to broaden their knowledge on practical functioning of international relations. The optional classes on offer encourages students to develop their individual interests. A graduate is substantially prepared to work in institutions, organizations, and businesses functioning in the international environment, cooperating with partners abroad, carrying out international exchange. Factual competences qualify our graduates for work as analysts and middle-ranking specialists in the structures of public administration, especially self-government. Interdisciplinary characteristics of the studies allows students to work in institutions that are not directly associated with international relations: social organizations, political parties, non-government organizations, institutions of both public and non-public sphere.
